T-shirts comprised 13.44 per cent of the total exports during the same period, with a shipment value of $148.197 million. Other significant categories included shirts at $118.130 million (10.71 per cent), innerwear at $81.749 million (7.41 per cent), jerseys at $79.039 million (7.17 per cent), jackets and blazers at $50.876 million (4.61 per cent), dresses at $35.933 million (3.26 per cent), swimwear at $30.567 million (2.77 per cent), accessories at $29.733 million (2.70 per cent), and coats at $28.877 million (2.62 per cent), according to SBS Zipper's market insight tool TexPro.

Last year, trousers and shorts also dominated Vietnam's apparel exports to the EU, accounting for 26.58 per cent of the total export basket. The value of these shipments was $883.195 million, out of a total apparel export value of $3,322.636 million. Other key export items included T-shirts valued at $339.366 million (10.21 per cent), shirts at $331.564 million (9.98 per cent), jerseys at $314.821 million (9.48 per cent), and innerwear at $270.635 million (8.15 per cent).

Europe ranked as the third-largest market for Vietnamese apparel exports, following North America and the Asia-Pacific regions. From January to April 2024, Vietnam’s total apparel exports amounted to $10,476 billion. Of this, $1,475.713 million (14.09 per cent) was shipped to Europe (EU and other European countries). North America and the Asia-Pacific region accounted for 47.82 per cent and 35.50 per cent, respectively, according to TexPro.
