1.About the Water Repellent Zipper
① The water repellent zipper gains its water repellency performance by sticking a polyurethane film on the zipper tape.
② The water repellent zipper is not completely waterproof, so water can leak through the film seal and zipper teeth.
③When using this water repellent zipper in outdoor products, there is no need for additional waterproof treatment at the zipper.
④ The luster of polyurethane film on zipper enriches the design of clothing and bags.
⑤Applications: Widely used on clothes, bags, tents, outdoor supplies, etc.
2.Notice for Washing
① The zipper must be completely closed when washing in order to avoid damage to the film.
② When dry cleaning, a petroleum-based dry cleaning solvent is recommended. Chlorine-based solvent often cause difficulty in operating the zipper, color runs, cloudy film, or the drop of film.
③ Water repellent zipper shall not be dried by drier, or it may damage the film and result in deterioration of the zipper’s water repellency.
3.Notice for ironing
Avoid direct ironing on the zipper, or the film may be crisp or even dropt.
4.Notice for Using and Storing
① Attachment to PVC or polyurethane material may cause transfer dyeing.
② Aviod direct contact with chemical medicines or organic solvents (such as wiping and soaking) when using or storing the zipper, as this may cause the film to become crisp, blister, or even drop in severe cases.
③ Keep the zipper away from direct sunlight, as it may cause the color to fade or turn yellow.
④ The bending and slider’s pulling may cause cloudy film, but it will not affect the zipper’s repellent performance.
⑤ Due to the nature of the polyurethane film processing, the zipper color may look deeper than the color shown on the SBS color card.
